Bahari Resources

Bahari Resources Limited was a dynamic oil and gas exploration company with a focus on developing African opportunities.

Dubhor Energy was a founder shareholder and acted as Bahari’s Technical Director.

Bahari was granted one of the first offshore exploration licenses in the Comoros Islands, a very exciting frontier play that lies to the East of prolific gas discoveries in the Rovuma delta offshore Mozambique and Tanzania. Bahari completed an initial appraisal of the exploration potential and then sought a partner to progress to the next phase of data acquisition.

Bahari successfully farmed-out a proportion of its interests to Discover Exploration, who worked with Bahari to acquire 2D regional seismic and develop a leads and prospect inventory. On the basis of these data and technical interpretations Tullow Oil has now farmed into the project and is the Operator of this acreage.

During DEL association with Bahari we evaluated numerous investment opportunities were appraised including Madagascar, Kenya, Somalia, Puntland, Ghana and Namibia.
